 About us

Located in such a provincial locality called MEKADAMBU, 7kms away from Muvattupuzha town, in the Kochi- Madurari NH road. The nearest bus stop is the Mekadambu Panchayath Office Stop. The resort is 11/2 kms from here where one can enjoy the real beauty of a village with green fields and trees, much away from the hectic din of the city life. This place is really a blessing of God, in his own country, where one can relish and savour pure, clear atmosphere, what makes the people around the place too, clear of heart and soul.

The house with  name “Thekkilakkattu’ is one of the oldest houses in our village. We have a collection of antique things, which we got from ancestors centuries ago. It includes a cot with handmade decorative works in wood.( It is 5 generations old.)

We have a variety of crops cultivated here, out of which rubber and pineapple are the important ones. You have the opportunity to watch and learn the entire process of natural rubber sheet making, from rubber tapping onwards. It is applicable to pineapple also. You can learn the package of practices in the process of pineapple cultivation.

Vanilla is also grown here- you can learn how the artificial manual pollination of vanilla is done.

You can also see and talk to the traditional toddy tapper. The way of collecting toddy from palm tree and different steps in making toddy etc could be seen.  You can even have it if you wish

You can do fishing and swimming in our pond. You will surely enjoy the swimming experience in the natural environment. From the front portion of our home, you can enjoy the beauty of nature enjoying the breeze.
